Botulinum toxin Injections are known for smoothing the fine lines on the face, particularly the forehead, between the brows, and around the eyes. However, this treatment can also help to improve some conditions for example it can be used for the neck to tighten sagging skin. This treatment can also be used to relieve the symptoms of hyperhidrosis which is excessive underarm sweating. Also for teeth grinding and jawline slimming, it provides a lifted and more defined jawline. It may also be used as an alternative to lip filler to give the appearance of a fuller lip (the 'lip flip'). Botulinum toxin is also used to give a 'non-surgical brow lift'.

Anti-wrinkle injections can be safely used alongside most of our other treatments in the clinic. They work especially well with MesoBotox to improve skin texture, reduce pore size and make your skin look smoother. It can also be done with our other injectables such as dermal fillers to provide a more rejuvenated result.

To improve the skin quality and improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles by increasing dermal thickness, treatments such as Profhilo, Polynucleotides, and Mesotherapy are especially well suited in conjunction with Anti-Wrinkle injections.

There is virtually no downtime. Injection points may be slightly red or raised immediately after treatment which usually subsides within a few minutes to hours.

We prefer to apply conservative doses, particularly with new clients to ease them into a natural first-time result from our treatments. This sometimes means that an additional dose may be required following the first treatment. At Hakiki Clinic, we offer a 2 to 4-week follow-up at no extra cost if additional injections are needed. Anti-wrinkle injections are generally not painful and are fairly easy and quick to receive.

We advise avoidance of pressure on the face, so in the case of washing your face, be gentle. It is important to avoid lying flat for 4 hours after the treatment. Stop heavy exercise for 48 hours and do not take NSAIDs or drink alcohol. More personalised information will be given at our consultation.
